Economic Relations between Turkey and the EU in Times of Political Stalemate

Deterioration of Turkey-EU political relations and stalemate in the accession process raise the ques-tion what (if any) impact does it have on economic cooperation. The paper analyses and evaluates data of three crucial pillars of the economic cooperation: The Customs Union, the European Investment Bank loans, and the Pre-accession assistance funds. The findings of the research say that metamorphosis of political relations did not influence the economic collaboration through Customs Union. Power Production Mix transition - Case of the Czech Republic and Germany

Countries of the EU have to transform their power production mix in order to meet the targets of the greenhouse gas emissions of the Union. The goal of the article is to investigate two approaches to the transition of the power production mix. Germany and the Czech Republic represent an example of states with a different position in this process as well as a different approach to it.
