Srovnání ekonomické výkonnosti regionů a budoucí podoba kohezní politiky v programovém období 2014-2020 v ČR

Politika hospodářské a sociální soudržnosti je zařazována mezi nejdůležitější oblasti zájmu mezi členskými státy Evropské unie. Je zřejmé, že ekonomická úroveň jednotlivých regionů se liší. Otázkou je, jak toto ovlivní podobu kohezní politiky v programovém období 2014-2020 v České republice. Hlavním cílem tohoto článku je srovnání úrovní územních statistických jednotek (NUTS II) v České republice. Tato problematika je stěžejní nejen pro získávání finančních prostředků ze strukturálních fondů Evropské unie, ale také pro utváření budoucí podoby kohezní politiky v České republice v následujícím programovém období 2014-2020. Nejprve je popsána současná situace kohezní politiky v České republice. Dále se článek věnuje ekonomické úrovni českých regionů a jejich srovnání prostřednictvím ukazatele HDP/obyv. v PPS. Závěrem jsou uvedeny faktory, které ovlivňují formování kohezní politiky v České republice.

Comparison of the Economic Performance of Regions and the Shaping of the Cohesion Policy in the Programming Period 2014-2020 in the Czech Republic

The economic and social cohesion both belong to one of the most important areas of interest within the EU member states. It is clear, that the economic levels of its regions significantly differ. The question is: how it will affect the shaping of the economic and social cohesion policy in the programming period 2014-2020 in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this paper is to compare the territorial statistical unit (NUTS II) levels in the Czech Republic. This issue is crucial not only for getting financial resources from the structural funds of the European Union, but also for shaping the future version of the economic and social cohesion policy in the Czech Republic in the following programming period 2014-2020. At first, the current situation of the economic and social cohesion policy in the Czech Republic is described. Furthermore, the paper is devoted to the economic level of the Czech regions and their comparison through the indicator of GDP per capita in PPP. At the end, factors that influence the form of economic and social cohesion policy in the Czech Republic are described.
